Good Beer
Over 20 years, Stoudt’s Brewing Company has grown and evolved from a small brewery with limited draught distribution, to a packaging regional microbrewery with distribution in 10 different states, producing over 10,000 barrels a year. Even with the growth over the years, one thing has always remained constant, and that is the attention to detail that goes into every batch of handcrafted beer that is traditionally brewed, packaged and sold with passion by our small team of hardworking dedicated employees. A tradition that was started by Ed and Carol and will be carried on by their children for many years to come. - PA Dutch Dunkle (Brewer's Reserve) This tasty brew is the dunkel version of our multiple award winning Heifer-in-Wheat summer seasonal. Traditionally Dunkel’s are characterized by a malt sweetnesss and chocolate-like character from the specialty malts used in the grain bill. The estery and phenolic elements normally associated with a hefe-weizen are still evident, but slightly subdued, due to this beers malty characteristics. Brown to copper brown in color, this tasty brew is offered unfiltered, and highly carbonated, straight from the heart of PA Dutch Country.
- Brett's Organic Kolsch (Brewer's Reserve) This refreshing German- style ale was brewed using organic 2- row malt, a small amount of red wheat malt, and all organic German hops for bittering and aroma. This straw colored Ale is smooth like a Lager due to the colder fermentation temperature and an extended cellaring time. It is dry and crisp with a slight fruitiness which compliments the mild hop bitterness and aroma. ABV: 4.8% IBU’s: 22
Brewer's Reserve - Making Craft beer is hard work. The Brewer's Reserve label is where our Brewers have a chance to be creative and play around in their craft. Each Brewer takes a turn brewing a small batch of the style of their choice or in some cases creating a new one. This concept started with the "Old Abominable" and was so much fun that everyone had to take a turn. The "Smooth Hoperator's" test batch first hit the taps under the "Reserve" label. Since the "Reserve" beers are small batched quantity is very limited, only available in hand corked 750 ml. bottle conditioned bottles and or sixtels.
